Digital preservation policy

AG Editor Books Division develops several processes aimed at ensuring the permanent accessibility of the digital books and chapters it hosts on its own servers:

  • Backup copies of servers and publication files.

  • Regular updating of software versions and planning for possible data migrations.

  • Incorporation of digital preservation metadata.

  • Assignment and management of DOI and ISBN identifiers.

  • Self-sufficiency by minimizing dependencies on external systems, data, or documentation.

  • Implementation of preservation strategies such as data rejuvenation, migration, technology preservation, and digital archaeology, with appropriate evaluations to ensure their effectiveness.

All published files are made available in easily reproducible formats (PDF, EPUB, and HTML).

AG Editor maintains redundant digital preservation systems and participates in open-access archiving initiatives to ensure the long-term availability and authenticity of its published books and chapters.

The Editorial AG Editor adheres to the Open Abstracts and Open Citations policy, of which it is a member the editorial.
